A trip to the old station "Elsensee", which is located between "Hasloh" and "Quickborn Süd"
Nowadays it is just an old station, overgrown with gras and other plants. In earlier times it was probably a normal trainstation. Most people who used this station were workers at the "Thörl Magarinefabrik", a factory that produced magarine. The factory was closed in World War 2 due to bomb attacks and got moved to Hamburg Harburg. Because of that, the station Elsensee was actually nedless. Then in 1974 the station was closed because the railroads got renewed. And because of the fact that the station was needless anyways, it just didn't got reattached to the railroads. Today you can barely see this station because it is overgrown and located in a forest. On the 11th of February in 2007 my friends and I went to explore this station. The station was completely covered with snow.
This is probably the end of the station.
Here another piece of the station which got painted by bored teenagers.
Here the beginning of the station, the stairs.
Here the AKN from the view of the station. You can see that the station isn't attached to the railroads anymore.
The station. Used to have railroads but now only trees.
Here remains of the Thörl Magarinefabrik (magarine factory).
Here two posts. Used to this was a fence for the factory
